Minniti motorsports shooting

UPDATE:  The mall was reported swarmed by helicopters and police units.  After a intense search, the scene was declared no longer an active scene.  The shooter is still at large.

The name of the victim was released by the brother of the victim on his social media page.  It is only just now being officially released.  The decedent’s name is Drew Molinari.  He was 34.

So far, no description of the suspect outside of ‘possibly wearing a blue hoodie.’  No mention of the gender, race or any other physical appearance has been given so far.

Paul Gordon Collier-  There was a shooting in Westmoreland County’s Rostraver Township,  According to police reports, at 8:15 AM a took place in Minniti motorsports, located on Ti-County Lane in Rostraver Township.  Details of the shooting are not clear.  So far, it is known that a suspect walked into the store, shooting an unidentified employee, who succumbed to their wounds.
The suspect was wearing a blue hoodie.
The owner of the store, Joe Minniti, was taken to Mon Valley Hospital after suffering what was called a ‘panic attack’ by officials.  Since this incident took place, there was another report of shots fired in the township, but no details have emerged on that report.
here is a statement made by Rostraver Township Police Chief Gregory Resetar, “The only description we have right now is wearing a dark hoodie, possibly a blue hoodie, up over the side of his face.  The individual walks into the establishment and just fired more than one round, struck and killed the victim.”
